It was very confusing and easy to fall off from the wagon-of not spending (at least a controlled spending) with the term of personal invest in business.
Though investing in business is so important which it can give us double triple fold from what we have invest, like i mentioned earlier, how to make sure we do it consciously and mindfully, not extravagantly.
Just posting this for me to record my small wins now!
Lately, I have bough few books which i do not buy books anymore after my no spend challenge and my minimalism mission.
Yes, i do feel the differences.
The ideas, it flows generously.
Betullah mentor Tuan Zul selalu pesan, buat dulu faham kemudian.
So, this is how I still can save or less spending though i still spend to get what i want/ invest in business/ buying books.
Carousell
I bought most of the books from Carousell apps. The apps is where people mostly sell their used things. So, i bought secondhand books. I really dont mind, as long as I can read the content. The content is all that’s matters.
The sellers were all very nice too.
I got book Dinar and Dirham written by Syeikh Imran Hossein for RM 4! A very good deal.
Tuan Azizi Ali’s books for around RM10. I bought 4-5 books written by him by dfferent sellers.
Google Play Books.
I saw Tuan Khairul Hakimin recommended Kunang Pesisir Morten book. I saw the book was RM 10 in Carousell but RM10 for postage.
Googled it, I saw it was in Google Play Books. Got its sample and ebook.
I think reading the sample was enough for me because I just want to read how the author conveyed her story with such a beautiful phrases and words.
By now, I am not buying it. Lets see if I changed my decision.
Win for me! (Because I still do not finish other books).
Coupons
There is one book recommended by Tuan Zul in our group guided by him which is the ‘Kitab Headline’.
Got so lucky because that time, the author gave coupons and free one more physical book. It’s about storytelling. The evergreen type of marketing.
Felt so grateful for the very deal!
Ebook
Ebook costs less than physical book though the readers of physical book may not like the feel of reading the digital book.
Like i mention before, i read the ebooks sample in Google Play Books. Not buying it yet.
But I really want to read Psychology of Money further.
Looking forward to buy it later.
